ok what's up with this weather?

It's 60 degrees today in NY... in January!

Something is seriously wrong!

My first winter in New England and I have yet to experience any snow, which is nice, but I think these inconsistencies in the weather are what have been making me sick.

Seems like all the bad weather has been localized to Colorado.

I hear ya Matty. I'm what like 3 hours away from you and outside of the wind its freaking beautiful out. I'm just hoping it holds up for a few more months, but I could see this lasting through February, then we walk outside in May to 12 inches of Snow....

But El Nino is becoming my favorite spanish word because this is awsome.

Its great for fishing here in Virginia. The stripers or rock fish as some call them run south every year and with the weather this warm they stay here to feed longer as the water is warmer. We went fishing 2 weeks ago (new born at home or I would have been more) and we caught around 25 stripers ranging from 25 inches to 43 inches and those are not the big ones still in the area. We only can keep two but at that size they last for awhile.

It's driving me crazy. Either stay warm or get cold already. This back and forth shit sucks. I had heard a mild December and January into a rough February and March, but I guess we shall see. When they talk about mid 60s to 70 degrees in the middle of January in the DC Area, that's crazy.
