I can't remember the last time I was actually sick for a long period of time. I get pretty bad headaches a couple of times a week but I've had them for so long that I've learned to deal with them (I think I need a CAT scan or something) and I get head colds in the fall and spring because of allergies but somehow I seem to avoid things like the flu or food poisoning or whatever every year. I also feel hungover from time to time for some reason ;), but I probably haven't been really sick in 10 years. I guess I'm either lucky, or the filthy house that I lived in back in college built up my immunity to extraordinary levels.
Watch, tomorrow I'll be puking all day long.

I had a rough cold about 2 weeks ago, but nothing serious. I don't usually get horribly sick...
However, allergies kick in at the beginning of spring, and I'll go a few weeks where kleenex and meds rule the roost.

I have that "coming down with something" feeling today. Man I hate this. I think this wacky weather probably has something to do with it.
Damnit. Now I feel like I'm coming down with something today. Post nasal drip, scratchy throat, mild headache. I think you got me sick, Matty.

Yep, I was sick last week for about 36 hours coming out both ends. It's a bad stomach virus floating around down here in TX as EVERYONE in my office has had it in the past two weeks.
This reminds me why I like to stay away from people from December through March. I'll take 2 weeks of the common cold, 5 days of the flu before I'll take a 12-hour stomach virus.
Time to go get more hand sanitizer.

Time to go get more hand sanitizer.I am not a germaphobe or anything but I love that Purell shit. We had to buy that stuff for my daughter when she went to kindergarten and I fell in love with it. I use it everyday all day.

I am a certified germaphobe and I go through a couple of the big bottles of Purell a month. If you can't get to it, or haven't washed your hands thoroughly, as long as you don't touch your food, or put your fingers in your mouth for any reason, your chances of catching the stomach virus (medically known as Norovirus) go way down.
The problem is eating out -- you can still catch it if someone who has it handled your food. I also try to cut down on eating out during the sick season.

That's exactly how I feel, but I've been really tired too. Yesterday when I got home from work I went right to bed and slept until about 7:30, I got up and got something to eat and went back to bed around 10:30. I feel a little better today but I'm still tired.
