Every once in a while a guy who's needs just a little bit more experience or conditioning or whatever gets a shot and makes a decent contribution to their team. I doubt it makes any kind of a salary cap hit and I understand the logic for bringing these guys in, but I'm wondering if there is any kind of a finacial risk in bringing in people who have almost no chance at even making it to training camp?
