there's some programs out there to let you write and upload your own ringtones, but i haven't really looked into it, as i hate my cell with a passion, and only use it for outgoing calls.

You have to make a midi file. It's not overly hard to do, but it requires some sort of USB (I'm assuming) plug from comp to cell phone.

that's right, some phones use a special format, but i've seen a bunch of midi editors that can convert and save as all sorts of formats...

Bummer.

Cpayne, Frank is going to do tv play by play on Aug. 21 with Jeff Bostic, Mike Patrick will do play by play for the other preseason games.

I am defnnitely going to miss Frank. On some level I equate it with the Orioles ushering John Miller out the door. I did like Larry's old pregame show, especially when he did it with Don Geronimo. I guess it'll just be awhile before I can accept Larry "Battlebots" Michaels taking Frank's place.
