Barring outrageous contract demands by Dockery, I'll be more than upset if the front office decides to let another home-grown player go in order to go overpay some free agent from another team. What does "Core Redskin" mean if we let them leave?

Ex-freaking-actly. Guaranteed if Dockery walks, the team atmosphere goes down the shitter. If we don't start winning right out of the gate with him gone, the team is going to lay down and quit.

We MUST resign dock. He was one of our best linemen last year and is only going to get better! Keep this line together at all costs.

Let's not forget, for the most part the Redskins have a great relationship with Rosenhause (sp?). Besides his TO deal, he gets his players signed quick and for a fair price. He's still a very good agent. During the TO deal he got at least 2-3 players decent contracts without anyone saying anything.

I believe that the reason Rosenhaus gets along with the Redskins so much is that they are not shy about shelling out huge signing bonuses/contracts. It would be interesting to see how Rosenhaus will be towards the Skins if they came to him with lower offers than he is used to.
