But don't you think a lot of that "quick fix" mentality has to do with the fans themselves? I mean, I think if blame is going to be placed on Dan Snyder for any reason it's because he still has that mentality that he did when he was "just" a fan, like most on this board. And I think he's gotten a lot better and more patient but he still gets suckered into that fan mob mentality that so many, even here, possess; where complete and utter panic sets in when we even lose a scrimmage.

Of course it does. It seems most of the fans want to gas up Redskins One, go get Clements/Samuel and some more FA's. If we were one or two players away from being a Super Bowl contender then make the move. But let's face it. We have a young unproven QB, one proven wr, defensive line is a mess, one good LB, and the the 2ndary is a complete mess. So we have a ways to go and it's probably not going to get fixed in one year. So everyone needs to be more patient.

But one thing that needs to happen is Danny needs to suck it up and bring in a proven GM. For the life of me I don't understand why he spends all this $ on coaches and players but won't bring in a top GM or personel guy. MAKES NO SENSE.

Exactly. But so many people just say "We need a GM" and figure it will all be solved instantly. Tell that to the Lions

I like to think of Dan Snyder like with giant eagles wings, and singing lead vocals for Lynyrd Skynyrd with like an all angel band, and I'm in the front row and I'm hammered drunk!
