Should I get a xbox 360?

How does Gears compare to something like Socom? I'm assuming it blows it out of the water.

I have only played socom on PSP, which it sucked. I have seen some of your post in the past about it. If you like on-line gaming gears is the best.

i didnt pay 600 i payed 200 my brother has connections but it is worth 600 but people dont wanna buy it

selling your body to stockbrokers isnt called having connections.

that being said, from a pure FUN standpoint, saden is spot-on. the wii is AWESOMe. you could play wii sports for weeks and not need another single game.

Gears is nothing like SOCOM. Gears is a game like no other and is REALLY good and worth buying a 360 by itself. Remember, there are other great things too like Rainbow Six:Vegas, XBOX LIVE Marketplace where you can download HD Movies, Game Demos and tons of other content. If you like online gaming, XBOX is the ONLY way to go as PS3 online is straight up azz.

I say buy the 360 because things are only going to improve in the coming months with Halo 3, Mass Effect, Huxley (MMO) and many others.

Is Rainbow Six anything like Ghost Recon? I played that and fell asleep, it was sooo easy.

Well I do have a plasma tv in my living room, but all my gaming stuff is in my computer room. I'd probably primarily keep it hooked up in my computer room and maybe hook it up in the living room for special occasions.

I guess another HDTV will be on my shopping list next. ;)

Gears of War is an amazing game, one of the best I have ever played. I was sad when I beat it - I didn't want it to end.

With PS3 being 600 dollars now, you can buy a 360 instead, play it for 2-3 years, then buy a ps3 for 300-400 dollars once the games finally eclipse 360. That way you get two systems for the price of one. It would be one thing if PS3 had a ton of exclusive games right now, but there is really nothing worth playing. Gamespot even did a side by side comparison of games for 360 and PS3 and found that the same game tended to look better on 360.

Anyway, I couldn't be happier with my 360. BTW, T Woods is nasty. You can't shoot 30 under anymore like on ps2.
