When I sit around on Sundays, I HATE that there really is nothing to watch all day until Family Guy or the Simpsons come on. Normally, I'm nursing a hangover, so I don't want to go outside or do anything that requires effort. Football used to be my hangover cure, mainly because I'd start drinking again. Just wait until you get married, and the wife finally figured out that Sundays are for antique-ing, housework/yardwork, and nagging the bejesus out of you. Everything maybe hunky dory now, but just wait... For me, Pro and College Football is the hobby that passes time between slow pitch softball seasons...
