Dave Matthews Band 2007 summer tour dates

I'm guess I'm the opposite DMB fan. I'd much rather hear the more obscure stuff and the jam sessions than the mainstream stuff. I got out of touch several years ago (last album I got was Dave and Tim's acoustic double) because you began to hear the same songs over and over and over again. I've see them live several times (3 shows Nissan, 2 at RFK), and the best show was the last show I saw at Nissan, because they did such a great mix of their mainstream with their more obscure. While it's nice to hear 15,000 people sing along, it's also nice to listen to some music when the fans don't know the words, and you can really hear the band play.

I to dislike the DMB, I don't understand why everyone calls him Dave like they know him? It gets on my nerves, granted he's prob the lifeblood of the band (I don't know much of their background) but its really obnoxious when people are all like I'm going to see Dave this weekend!

I don't think it's meant as an exclusion of the other members, it's just short for Dave Matthews Band.

Way to generalize. I think you just called Matty a drugged-up loser. He'd totally ban you for like 9 months...but he's high right now

Yeah, I'm going. I wasn't sure if my friend could get me a ticket and i wasn't going to call him to ask because I really do want to watch the game, but today he called and said he has mine so that's where I'll be. I haven't been listening to DMB at all lately but I still really like the band and I know it'll be fun.
Looks like I'll just have to find out how the game went on Sunday.

Saw them last night at SPAC and Trey Anastasio showed up for Lie in Our Graves, the crowd went wild when Trey came out... great show. Toots were an awesome opener too.

it wasn't a bad show, it just wasn't the best and it wasn't anywhere close to as good as his last two shows I saw at UVA.
Plus, on Saturday I had to basically babysit my 21yr old sister, so that was annoying.
