Amobi Okoye, or trade down for Moss. (Florida)
Your Opinion on this Draft Scenario...Campbell17 04-16-2007, 04:40 PM Amobi Okoye, or trade down for Moss. (Florida) offiss 04-16-2007, 05:14 PM Moss looks like a better version of Charles Mann coming out of college. He should develope into a force within 2 years. Beemnseven 04-16-2007, 05:25 PM By all accounts, it sounds as if the front office wasn't impressed with Anderson or Adams. The best case scenario would be for either Quinn, Peterson or LaRon Landry to be available at #6. Then we should have no problem trading down. I want a defensive tackle and a defensive end with our first two picks, no matter where they happen to be. holcknowsbest 04-16-2007, 05:37 PM ill take landry at 6......but i like the trade with the bills at 12 taking carriker then with the third round pick taking eric weddle if he is still there...if he isnt there i wouldnt mind the tennesse dt turk mcbride. mcbride is a little undersized at 280 but he is a stone cold beast of a player and could add weight very easily. 100% PURE WHOOP ASS 04-16-2007, 05:46 PM Laundry.........LSU, it would be like having Reed and Taylor in the backfield GoSkins! 04-16-2007, 06:10 PM Matt Speath of Minnesota is probably the best blocking TE to come out since Jason Peters of Arkansas. Yes, that's the same Jason Peters that became a future pro bowl LT in Buffalo. Speath is exactly what we are looking for. It may take some luck to have him fall all the way to us in the 5th, but he's the kind of guy I would be willing to trade up into the 4th for. I'm sure we know a little bit about him already from going over film of Montgomery from last year. I can see us trading a 6th round pick to go with our 5th to move up into the 4th round to nab at least one guy with a fair chance to see the field. That would still leave us with 2 6th round picks. SkinsFan6388 04-16-2007, 06:25 PM mel kiper jr and his amazing hair is pressed on the idea that the redskins need to and will draft laron landry. im not so sure that they need him that badly. Despite Landry's near certain pro bowl caliber talent, our safety situation will go as Sean Taylor does, with or without Landry. Seems kind of pointless to draft a safety only to watch offenses pick on the other safety. And if Sean Taylor can establish himself as a feared cover man in this league, really, what would be the point of Landry then? It would just remove any possibility of us finding a hidden gem at the safety postion, and finding hidden gems is the only way to restore this defense quickly. Put simply, we just have to get lucky, and not do stupid things like draft 2 top 6 safeties in 4 years. KLHJ2 04-17-2007, 02:35 AM I am just going to let the FO make this decision. They are the ones that have scouted all of the players, conducted the interviews and broken down the film. As long as we do not take an offensive player in the first round I'm cool with their decision. hooskins 04-17-2007, 02:45 AM I am just going to let the FO make this decision.
