Just curious - According to who?
Around the time of the combine, I remember reading somewhere that Gibbs and Williams appeared to really like Okoye (and yes, I have been an Okoye backer from well before the ESPN article).
Skins stuck at No. 6?
<Apr. 11> At the moment, the Redskins are pessimistic about their chances of trading out of the No. 6 spot, according to John Clayton. The Lance Briggs trade is pretty well dead from the Redskins' standpoint. Talks of moving up and moving down have been difficult. The Redskins may have to pick, which could put them in a position to take safety LaRon Landry of LSU. The Redskins don't appear to be thrilled with Clemson defensive end Gaines Adams as the sixth pick even though they have a need for a pass-rushing defensive end.

okoye at the 6 spot if we cant trade down but i wouldnt mind landry either because honestly one Dline rookie isnt the last piece to the puzzle and we should be building for a SB run in '08 to '10

Okoye is the Redskins most certain pick because we heard the least about him from the Redskins FO.
That means they're trying to smokescreen their top draft pick of Okoye by not showing any interest. Good job guys in the FO.
Goodell: "With the 6th overall pick the Redskins select...Amobi Okoye"
Goodell: "Damn, looks like you were right Skinny Tee, keep up the good work."

i hate to think it but i believe if we cant trade down to get one of the d-lineman none of them are worth the #6 pick. we will draft landry we just based on the fact he is the best defensive player in the draft in my opinion. i would like a d-lineman but the more i think about it they will not make our team much better this year. i just hope peterson falls to our pick so we can trade down and get more picks

Sean wasn't especially good in coverage in 04 or 05, but he regressed majorly this year. There is NO excuse for him being out of position as much as he was this year and biting on any backfield action that moves. He's got the potential to be an above average safety in this league, but only if he corrects the undisciplined play that plagued him in 2006.
he will be a dominant safety
