My point is they have pre-established relationships with companies that are seeing record profits due to the current administration. If you dont think that all of this is fueled by greed and the lining of their own pockets, than you are pretty naive.So what your saying that you really do not know if the President & VP have any interest or as you said lining their pockets and just make a planket statement that they are. Thats my point, I hear this all the time but no one can ever say how they are linning their pockets. Just at some point that both have been in the business so its "assumed" they are in some how. The Democrats have control of both house and what have they done. When the Rep. had control of both houses the Dems. had no problem making gas prices an issue and they had all the CEO's of big oil co. come to Washington making a big deal about the issue. I guess now that they have control they do not want to make it an issue as it would make them look bad.

i think that dick cheney still has some sort of ties to haliburton.and i guess exxons 8 billion profit from last quarter wasnt enough
Cheney sold all his interest in Haliburton before the 2000 election its the news and the Dems. that try to make the conection.
