Key is no longer a locker room distraction, having been cut from Tampa Bay kinda cured him of that. I'd take him in a heartbeat, and in case you haven't noticed we've got one guy (Cooley) capable of going across the middle.
He is great between the 20s and I don't think he'll be a free agent for long if he still wants to play.

I'd take him, actually, but I think he will sign with New Orleans or some other team he deems 'a contender'.

Keyshawn had a really productive year last year I thought

I'm not generally one to scream "sign him!", everytime someone with name recognition gets cut, but if the price were right this might not be all bad. I think Keyshawn is physically well-suited to catch the type of ball that Campbell delivers. He is also the perfect compliment to Moss. Having said that he probably isn't interested in playing for us or for the scant money we would be offering.
He's going to play for somebody, though, and I believe he represents an improvement over Brandon LLoyd who has not shown the toughness needed to do what the Skins need him to do.

It actually wouldn't surprise me to see him return to the Jets. I think the Chargers and Packers could also be possibilities

John Clayton just got finished saying there is a very good chance this is the end of the road for Meshawn. He said if he did sign he'd have to be willing to take a 1 year minimum value contract, which would be right around $1M. He also said if he is going to sign with anyone it will be right around the start of training camp.

I doubt very seriously KJ is gonna hang up those cleats, he's got something left and I'm sure he's interested in that last paycheck.

I pretty much agree with you, but usually John Clayton is pretty right on, so I thought it was worth mentioning.

he sure would help out on 3rd down and in the red zone.
