LOL I'd never have to worry about that. She's the kind of girl who loves to take a bath and be in bed by 8pm and she's usually fast asleep by 9-9:30. She's never been much of a partier.
I meet a many of ladies who said don't worry my husband thinks I'm the kind of girl who loves to take a bath and be in bed by 8pm kind. LOL

TMC, how do you go about setting this up in your car? Do you just toss the laptop in the passenger seat? Is there any sort of stand or something to hold it in place worth looking at?
Yeah, I bought a power inverter to go with my laptop so I don't worry about battery life. I also have an FM broadcaster so that the directions get broadcast through my car speakers on where I need to turn. The GPS itself is really small. It sticks on your windshield with a suction cup.

You can't go wrong with Garmin Nuvi (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/002-0272661-6058455?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Garmin+Nuvi&Go.x=0&Go.y=0&Go=Go). The newer modles are pricey but the older should be more affordable.

Yes! Garmin is an excellent product but a little pricey. Great for a motorcycle!!!!

Carbon copy of my wife, right there. Asleep every night by 9:00 pm.
I've narrowed it down to two choices:
TomTom ONE Compact Portable Automotive GPS System (http://www.tigergps.com/tomtomone.html)
Magellan Maestro 3100 Compact Automotive GPS System (http://www.tigergps.com/magellanmaestro3100.html)
They look very similar, anyone have any experience with either of these?
Best Buy has the Magellan on sale for $199 so I'm leaning that way right now.

My sister's boyfriend has the Magellan and he loves it. They use it all the time, and it sems like it's easy to switch from car to car.
