Tecmo tournament

so we need to get the details set up on this tourny

timeline and all

i need to know how long I have to wait to beat you all senseless.

Whoever wants to play please post your AIM name, if I don't have you on the list on my original post please let me know.

I have 8 people as of right now, if we can get 10-12 that would be great but 8 is certainly enough to set up a tournament.

Aren't there tournaments with real money to be won?

I thought I've heard of Madden championships with big cash payouts -- true or urban legend?

Madden yes you can win $$, Tecmo probably not.

I'd be down for throwing some $$ in on a Tecmo tourney.

I'm practicing now. After getting my ass handed to me 51-14 against Bo Jackson and the Raiders, I'm back to .500. Clearly, I need some catch up time.

So when do we start this? Also, when you play against an online opponent, do your players' physical conditions carry over if you're in the middle of a season?

At the top of the nesticle screen, go to settings, and then redefine input. Select device 1.

You should see a list of devices you can set to be the input for nesticle. Click on gamepad. Then press the buttons on your gamepad, if the screen blinks with it, then you're all set. If pressing the buttons does nothing, click on Joystick 1 or whatever and try again.

What should blink, the green box? I can get some of the things to work, like start and kickoff. But I can't consistently choose plays, move my player, change the player etc.

when you play against someone online it's just like playing an exhibition game against someone as if you were playing on the old NES console. In-season progress doesn't carry over.
