He has constantly had problems staying in shape, and if you look at the time frame of his release, it coincides with the first mini-camps. Adams showed up to mini-camp teetering around the 400 lb mark and the team simply said ENOUGH is ENOUGH and they released him. freddyg12 05-15-2007, 12:16 PM I like the Boston Lager, actually I love that stuff - always a good choice. I like the Brady skit the best, but there were some other good ones mentioned here. I would be surprised if we signed Sam Adams, don't think he would get into the rotation much if all are healthy, but if he's only 33 he may be worth a shot. I thought dude was like 36 or so.
