Don't forget most of the players in the league are behind Goodell's hard-line stance. Like it or not I think the NFL has to do this before things spiral out of control. If anything, Tags was a little too lenient when it came to these issues.

Yeah sucks for him. Anyone think the comish is trying a bit too hard to fill the shoes well?
Not really, it's a refreshing change of pace to see some of these punks getting put in their place.
Hey, does anyone know if the agents money gets taken out instantly when the contract is awarded? Or that if a player loses money from a suspension does that affect the agent's percentage as well?
Hmmm...probably not the best use of the English language with those two questions.

Not sure how this would or would not affect the agent....? I would think they get there cash after the contract is complete in full.
But I agree, they deserve exactly what they are getting, I little time on the hill. Hurt them where it counts the most, JUST MAYBE they won't be so STUPID....? DOUBT IT

How about the overreacting when Henry "failed" his drug test. It was just a report and everyone, including the league wanted something done. It is becoming hysteria. I am sure you wouldn't be too happy if Goodell was in charge during the ST incident. I am sure he would have missed alotta games, even though the charges were dropped.
It is easy for you to agree with the comish, but as soon as a Skin is involved you view will change.

Is anyone else reminded of the scene in Godfather where Michael takes over and kills all the bosses to let people know there's a new sherrif in town?
