UPDATE: Paris Back in Jail!

Reports state she was approaching a nervous breakdown. So I guess they did the only reasonable thing. They let her go. Money may not be able to buy happiness, but it can DAMN sure buy freedom!

Personally, I've seen people do far warse with less punishment... They were using her (public image) to make a point, which I think is kind of twisted and unfair.

Nervous breakdown? Give me a break. Local confinement facilities and prisons have medical centers on site. They are more than capable of providing adequate treatment and if they can't then the inmate is shipped to the hospital, but they are still held in custody. They are never released for medical reasons.

They should have just put a paper gown on her and transferred her to the medical unit. If they had done that, I'm willing to bet she would have straightened up really quick and stopped all this BS.
