I would rather us go after Tank than pick this guy.
Oh hell no.

Morgan State DT Armstrong to be available in supplemental draftPaintrain 06-26-2007, 10:13 AM I would rather us go after Tank than pick this guy. Oh hell no. MTK 06-26-2007, 10:31 AM I can't believe people would even consider Tank, but at the same time I'm not surprised at all. skinsWill 06-26-2007, 12:43 PM Yeah seriously, have any of these supplemental picks ever panned out into a quality starter? These are guys that usually come with a lot of baggage. i think the last guy to come in and contribute right away at a decent level was Ahmed Brooks the LB from UVA went to the bengals a year ago or so. Of course the knock against him was the off the feild issues... so of course the BENGALS got him (to replace Odell?) but he has managed to be one of the few guys on that team to stay out of trouble JoeRedskin 06-26-2007, 12:53 PM Who knows - he may be a developmental guy. If you like him, bid a 7th rounder. Otherwise, just wait see if he gets drafted and sign him as an OFA. Beemnseven 06-26-2007, 01:05 PM Why would the front office of the Washington Redskins be interested in a defensive lineman? skinsWill 06-26-2007, 01:06 PM Ive heard good things about the CB Oliver from Georgia... But I dont remeber him well. Anyone have any insight? I know hes entering bc. of Academic Inelligibility. Good player? MTK 06-26-2007, 01:12 PM Why would the front office of the Washington Redskins be interested in a defensive lineman? Why would they not be? I'm sure they have their eyes open, but it needs to be the right circumstances. I'm not sure that a 24 year old rookie with a history of back problems is what they're looking for. Actually, Bernie Kosar was a supplemental draft choice back in 1985. MTK 06-26-2007, 01:14 PM Actually, Bernie Kosar was a supplemental draft choice back in 1985. So it's been 22 years since a quality player panned out for the long haul. SmootSmack 06-26-2007, 01:22 PM So it's been 22 years since a quality player panned out for the long haul. Um...Steve Walsh? Uh...The Boz? Actually, what's his name from San Diego was one. Jamal something or the other |
