i don't really mind them but they are a little annoying cause they always end up the same way with the same people saying the same things over and over.

I would rather discuss politics than vidya games or "The Transformers Movie".
As for the "Liberal Warpath" I think that's a stretch. Matty is obviously a died in the wool leftist who often feigns moderation. Pretty sneaky. As King Mod you would like more of a Geoge Washington figure, beyond party politics, but SS is an avowed Republican (albeit in the Rockefeller sense of the term -at best) and he serves kind of the Hamilton role. The real power behind the throne. So it all balances out. I think its all balanced.

I know I'm leving a lot of people out including myself, but I mostly just eff around. The Redskins are the only really important issue to me.
I take offense to being with Crazyhorse. :)
I always felt I was more the inverse of Dmek or saden. I don't know who the inverse of Crazyhorse is.

That's all I wanted to say.
That's why this is an "off topic" thread...

Personally I love the off-topic forums. We all have one thing in common, we're all huge skins fans (besides those few loyal members who are 'boys and giants fans. I respect all of those posters immensely). The off-topic threads allow us to see what a large cross-section of American people feel. Lately, I really feel like the political discussions have gone over great and relatively free of drama.

I'm going to *zing* myself here.

During the regular season I hardly visit the parking lot. But, during the offseason, I need my warpath fix and it just so happens that most off-season activity on this site occurs in the parking lot. Also, it's good to hear so many different views expressed. I think the only way to keep the juices flowing in the brain is to hear from people who think differently than yourself.
what a great quote. i really enjoy the political thing. one of the main reasons is that the threads i have seen have remained civil. and its amazing to me how some see the glass half full....

Actually my purpose for this thread was to lighten things up a bit as it seemed to have become very tense around here lately. Only two more weeks and we will have us some football to talk about!!!

If I'm serving a Hamiltonian role...who's my Aaron Burr?
