I guarantee that the Redskins will be a very entertaining team this year. The offense will be high powered. Anchored by a solid running game and an explosive passing attack with Jason Campbell emerging as a promising young superstar. The defense will be mediocre, struggling to get off the field. Without a pass rush, teams will have all day to pick apart a talented secondary. The Redskins will have to out score their opponents and will be moderately successful. I predict 8-8.

I guarantee I'll waste more time at work reading the Warpath following a Redskins victory than I will following a Redskins loss. Call it fair-weather fandom or consider it a mourning period.

I spend more time on the Warpath after a tough loss - call it therapy.

As for my guarantee, we will switch placekickers at least once this season. Aside from John Hall's solid first season, the Snyder tenure has been marked by crappy placekicking.

My first thought is (BTW - I hate predictions... I feel like I'm being setup to shoot myself in the foot whenever I am being optimistic about my Skins... considering they keep making me look like an idiot to Father-In-Law (Giants Fan) and Brother-In-Law (E-Girls fan) ) that we will compete to win the Division and win a Wildcard to make the playoffs... But as I look at our schedule, I think we might pan out alright if we can finally start winning some of these close games that we kept losing the past 2-3 years. We need to BEAT the teams we should beat.... Detroit, ARizona, Green Bay, Tampa Bay, Buffalo, and Minn... but I don't see how we could possibly due that IF past performance is any indication of future results... My off the top of my head prediction is 9-7, BUT looking at the schedule

9/9 vs. Dolphins 1pm ET CBS WIN
9/17 @ Eagles 8:30pm ET ESPN L
9/23 vs. Giants 4:15pm ET FOX WIN
10/7 vs. Lions 1pm ET FOX WIN
10/14 @ Packers 1pm ET FOX WIN
10/21 vs. Cardinals 1pm ET FOX L
(We'll somehow blow this game)
10/28 @ Patriots 4:15pm ET FOX L
11/4 @ Jets 1pm ET FOX W
11/11 vs. Eagles 1pm ET FOX W
11/18 @ Cowboys 1pm ET FOX L
11/25 @ Buccaneers 1pm ET FOX WIN
12/2 vs. Bills 1pm ET CBS WIN
12/6 vs. Bears 8:15pm ET NFL Network L
12/16 @ Giants 8:15pm ET NBC L
(We have been awful in NY/NJ the past few years!)
12/23 @ Vikings 1pm ET FOX WIN
12/30 vs. Cowboys 1pm ET FOX WIN

There you have it... somehow 10-6. (3-3 in the NFC EAST).

JC will make huge strides this year....
