if the d or o is not improved this year drastically id say goodbye to our entire coaching staff.

i agree 21, this team needs to step it up. Our regulars have to play more to get some confidence. No more crap like last season.

I don't know, but I see a lot of people leaning way to far into this scrimage. I had a buddy ask me to come over and watch it with him, but I told him I had to do my hair. There could be a number of reasons why the D didn't look strong, or why Mark was on the field (probably to knock the dust off). We are getting all fired up about nothing. Take a breath, drink a beer and get ready for the season. I'll watch the pre-season games, but only because it's Redskin football, but I won't be starting any threads over what I see. I won't start to panic until week 3 at least.

true matty but if the skins look great or very good you guys would be saying man were back. going to the superbowl. Cant have it both ways. Alot of us were disappointed in their performance. The Ravens didnt have many starters in either and they looked alot better. Especially the ot they got in the supplemental draft. Wish we would have taken a chance on him.

Trade Brunnel to the Falcons for a draft pick (any round). Cut Todd Collins. Keep Bramlet as the backup and Palmer as the third string quarterback. There is no reason for keeping all these have been quarterbacks and holding back the development of these younger, more promising quarterbacks.

Smoot's pick was nice, but McNair lobbed it right to him.

That's still an upgrade from Carlos Rogers who can't catch balls lobbed right to him. I can't wait. Carlos is going to be our nickel back.

I agree. We don't need 2 vets on the Roster to show Jason the ropes. Bramlet could be a solid #3 back this year and let either Collins, or Brunell work with Jason and then cut them off next year. I'm not sure how long we have them signed for, but I would rather have another young QB than 2 vets. Hell, I could take a snap and dump the ball to the HB for a lot less than we pay them for.

I doubt it. Rogers is a far better tackler and only a slight downgrade in the hands department. If Smoot took Rogers starting job, you'd just end up seeing 20 yard runs to his side, as opposed to the 20 yard completions that Rogers gives up.

That being said, I think Rogers will be vastly improved this season, and I am glad that Smoot is back on the squad.
