Brunell is the most rediculous garbage QB Left in the NFL He will never amount to anything then he has 8 years ago to the Jags.We should pick up Simeon Rice or Tank Johnson

I swear to God I will ban you. I will ban you back to the Stone Age. Not for your opinions - though they are foolish - but for misspelling "ridiculous".

If Brunell amounts to what he was eight years ago with the Jags, then we will be in the Championship game with a 14-2 record.
Simeon Rice has failed every physical he's taken this year except the one with the Giants - who only passed Simeon to piss off Strahan.
Tank Johnson has only played in a Cover 2, and will be on our roster for eight games he can't play if we sign him. That's a bad FO decision.

No one wants to see Brunell starting now - he isn't our first round draft pick, he isn't our leader. Being this angry about it is like being angry about the third string Tight End - except the third string Tight End might actually have to do something on special teams. Brunell will just sit on the sideline with his rediculously perfect hairline.

Yeah, they'd be great backup QBs.

This thread is STUPID.

It's nice to see Gibbs giving the kid some experience, we would all hate to see Palmer show some potential, imagine if Gibbs had to make a choice for the third string back up, no, let's just hand it to Brunell.

We need to see Brunell in the pre season like we need a hole in our heads, Gibbs continues to think that some how some way Brunell will find his way to the field [with Gibbs unmitigated devotion to making that happen] and led us to the promised land.

Give Palmer the much needed experience NOW!

Can't wait to see Brunell in a regular season game, because we all know one way or another it's going to happen!

As the #4 I assume Palmer isn't getting many meaningful snaps in practice. I think it's a little unrealistic to expect him to be playing.

Like it or not you still have get your #2 and #3 QBs ready to play.

I thought Brunell's arm look fine against the Stealer's and the int. was the WR's fault as the pass hit him in the face. I thought if anything he was throwing the ball too hard. No I'm not looking for him to start but there is no way we can let him go.

while I'm not opposed to trading Brunell, there cant possibly be any market for a 30 something qback, who is on his last legs. with that being said, he knows our system, and is an adequate back up

Two points:

1. Why would the Falcons want Brunell? I guess Musgrave is still there, but their emphasis will be on youth. I don't think they have any interest in an old-timer at this point.

2. Collins has some nice numbers, but (and I will probably say this one hundred times in the next three weeks) his arm is absurdly weak. If he were in a situation where he had to get the ball downfield, he will either humiliate himself in front of millions of people or eat the ball, probably the latter. He is still the same check down artist we grew to hate last pre-season. I suspect that Brunell will wind up with the number 2 job. Not that it's any skin off my nose. I don't have a dog in this fight. (whoops)

I don't think we can afford it. The cap hit would hurt I imagine at this point.
