That's a very cool breakdown. We should loan him a little loot to upgrade the tele'. bubble vision(as i call it) is so 1995. thanks for that though, very cool.

That guy has way too much time on his hands but either way I enjoyed it. Didn't someone else find a different breakdown by someone else on this site? I think it was of the Redskins Titans game earlier in preseason.

Great read and great breakdown. I'm glad he's got too much time on his hands.

that was a crazy analysis... i don't know what happened to rogers once he came into the league, but i remember him being really physical at auburn. dillweed's point is that you can't leave him on an island when landry blitzes.

Ok after checking out just the part on Portis I have to completely disagree. First off the "General rule of thumb" is correct and his initial movements are correct as he identified Taylor as the likliest person to get to the QB since he probably could not immediately identify Thomas coming out from behind the DL. When he does notice Thomas he makes the adjustment but is simply too late. He seems to assert that Portis is poor at pass blocking while I know for a fact that he is considered among the best in the game at it. The only key to this play was Taylor's jump. It set in motion a domino effect that led to Jansen's injury. Without that jump Portis is able to step forward in the pocket and identify Thomas earlier and in better position. He likely get s a better block and probably no sack or injury. His analysis is simply wrong on this.

I agree with this too

How could the refs not call Taylor offsides on the play? There was an offsides missed in the Bears/Chargers game as well. The officials are off to another cracker-jack season.

Wow--another amazing Dillweed production. Great stuff, and you learn too. Edumaction made fun.

(I kinda feel like he's the comic book guy in the Simpsons, but he focuses on football--"Best A-gap coverage EVER..." But in a good way. If he ever gets a job that won't allow him to do this, all skins fans should take up a collection to get him back on his couch in front of his TiVO.)

I spent entirely too much time trying to figure this analysis out! But it is a great read, if you have the time to analyze Dillweeds analysis.
