Yep Raiders are about to lose, first and goal Denver, it's a friggin chip shot now.
EDIT: Raiders lost. I can only imagine what they are feeling right now, having kicked the game winner only to find out it didn't count, and then they lose the game. The NFL tends to be very loose on the rules involving the Raiders. Shanahan is a giant ****bag and they should NOT have allowed him to take a time out after the fact. If it was a low intensity play in the 3rd quarter, and had he tried to take a timeout right at the snap, they probably would have ignored him. He had his ten seconds to ice the kicker, the Raiders got the snap off before the whistle, and both sides played out the snap.
If I'm Lane Kiffin, I would have pulled my team off the field right there. If the game goes under protest, then it goes under protest. I would not allow my team to be embarassed at the hands of a rival after I legitimatly won the game.
In the grand scheme of things, this game isn't going to cost the Raiders anything but pride, but after seven years of stuff like this, Al Davis' patience with the officiating has to be wearing thin. It is one more win for the Denver Broncos that very generously I can say they didn't deserve.
