Monkeydad 09-25-2007, 01:16 PM im a wicked huge sox fan..and ill say the yankees arent catching the sox!! sox are in the playoffs already! they also lost today! Boston is resting people, I think that will cost them the AL East title. The homeless guy named Manny has been out for 24 games and won't see the field until the playoffs, if then. Youkilis hasn't played for a week. Wakefield blew up last time out, Schilling hasn't won for a month, their bullpen isn't dominant like it was most of the year, Gagne was a disaster pickup, plus they have to play the A's who have been them 4/6 times this year and then the Twins while the Yankees will face the Devil Rays and Orioles, two of baseball's worst teams. 2 game deficit...the Yanks have the upper hand I'd say. mredskins 09-25-2007, 01:43 PM ^ I agree Buster but, the weird thing about the Sox is they usually play to the level of their opponent. so they may step up this week. I would hate to see them lose the AL East pennant. | |
