What can you make? I think I made some shrimp and pasta in alfredo sauce dish, with a salad appetizer

Here's what you do.
First, have a buddy tape the game, so you'll be able to watch it whenever you want. Next, take her out to dinner to whereever she wants to go. Don't look at your watch and don't talk about the game. Don't worry about missing the game, it's just a preseason game. When you get back, turn on the tv and see if you can catch the end or some highlights. If she realizes that you missed the game for HER, it may pay off for future big games! :D

You're gonna miss her for a while but you need to "take one for the Team".

Get yer priorities straight man!

lol
Did I mention I have been divorced twice? Taking my advice might not be the best idea.

Congrats!

Well, like the rest of you are a huge fan. What is it going to be like the rest of the season? Is she a sports fan? Lets hope she understands your love for the Redskins. Like Mike I am divorced too. Part of the problem was she thought I watched too much sports. Best of luck, hope you watch the game(s) one way or another.

thanks for the input guys...i guess i am going to have to suck it up and watch the game in the morning...unfortunately she is not such a big sports fan so she doesn't really understand but i think that she is starting to realize how important this season is...only because that's all i talk about. Once I get my daughter to say Hail To The Redskins, it's all over for my wife...I can't wait.

Here's your menu:

Start with a chilled glass of Champagne (try to get her to have 2-3)
Starter: Portobello Mushrooms in a Merlot sauce
More Champagne
Main: Chicken in Brandy with veggies marinaded in vodka
Lots more Champagne
Dessert: Rum truffles and Cognac.

If she's still conscious she'll be happy to cheer on the Redskins. Yes, I'm divorced.

Well hopefully you can get your wife to at least respect how much you like the Redskins. I feel for you buddy. I have a 4 year old daugther and she knows who the best team is. She also knows that the cowboys stink by saying that.

So how'd you end up resolving the dilemma?
