Halo 3

Ok bought this game over the weekend. It is Ok. I think BioShock from a single player view point is way better. This one is fun but not nearly as much fun as BioShock. Plus the graphics are just ok considering the hype for this game. Just my opinion.

the graphics aren't jaw droppingly gorgeous but given the scope of each level and the only loading screens being between levels, I'm happy with it especially when u get a hold of a weapon that switches u into 3rd person cuz the detail in MC is awesome. The main thing that was amazing to me was the lighting. I've never seen the aspects of sunlight and shadows done that well in a video game. plus I think 95% of us probably bought Halo 3 for the multiplayer. Bioshock destroys Halo 3 story wise but Halo 3's multiplayer makes up for that in my opinion. but when it comes out, Call of Duty 4 is gonna own Halo 3 in multiplayer. I'm already depressed that the beta is over and it's only been a few hours.

I'm new to Halo as a whole (never played 1 and 2). Can someone explain why in multiplayer you can shoot people 10 times with little effect but if they melee attack you, you die almost instantly. I only played a few times online but I was getting pretty pissed off with someone running directly at me, I'm shooting them in the chest and they run "through" the bullets and punch me in the face, killing me???? WTF?

The key is to pick up weapon upgrades before you battle, the default gun isn't all that effective, and when you're engaged with someone try to constantly move around, jump, etc. And if they charge, be ready to melee them right back.

Also go for head shots. Head shots will kill a player in half the time as constant body shots.
