Sounds like we're all in agreement this is a game we should win. I just hope the fire on defense is still there. M. Washington has a lot to do w/ that and he could be out - even though Godfrey is just about the best backup ss linebacker you could want he could never bring the emotional lift Washington does.
I think our O will be real solid again. Campbell will have some bad plays and a few bad series going forward but I don't really see this stud having a flat-out bad game. Is anyone else hugely impressed w/ Campbell's calm and composure? Friggin like this guy win or lose.

I've heard nothing about Washington being out...and don't forget about Blades

On Comcast this morning, they said Randel El had a mild hammy sprain and that Marcus Wsahington's was "moderate" and he was saying he's still real sore. I could see him not playing.

I think this is going to be another battle like last weeks, with our D-coach against thier O-coach. Brett Can hurt you vertically, but they don't have the consistant running game. If they did, they would be really a team to watch. Farve is not the type of QB to get rattled with a little pressure, so blitzing a lot won't help to much. We need our CB's to be on top of thier game, along with our LB corps. Skins 24 GB 20.

I think the skins might have turned a corner last week b/c they displayed this killer instinct that I haven't seen in them in a while. It was like they knew they were going to win even when they were only up 14-3 despite the fact that the Lions led the league in 4th quarter scoring and they had given up leads in all 3 previous games. They just exhibited this quality that few teams in this league have where u have ur opponent on the ropes and u deliver a knockout punch.
I think that this quality could be key in the Lambeau b/c i can see the skins jumping out with an early lead. Then it will be a clash to see if mr. comeback Brett Favre can lead the pack back or will the determination of our D overcome those odds in a hostile environment. either way i think it will be a close game.

I'll be honest, i'd be alot happier if Green Bay was coming off of a win. They didn't look bad running on Chicago's d. Granted, I do think we will win but it's not going to be easy by a long shot. They will be very fired up to show they're not overrated, as I think most of us think they are.
This is going to be a huge test. Very tough road game against one of the best QBs to have played the game and then there's the letdown factor coming off a dominating win. The Pack have a tough D too, we're going to have our work cut out for us.

The difference is that the Lions don't run, and the Packers can't run consistently. We will have to pay attention to the run more in Lambeau than we did last week, because the Packers will at least try to run the ball.
Totally. I kept saying that if Detroit had commited to more a running game then they could have competed but Mike Martz just can't help himself. Jones was mauling us in the 2nd half, albeit because we simply refused to let them pass downfield.

This game scares me a little. GB is always tough at home, and I don't look for them to "give another one away" like last week. I think this defense will give us problems, and whoever wins the turnover battle and the field position battle will win. Let's hope we can at least run the ball effectively, and then keep Favre guessing on D.

You know the trick, if you will, is to keep the Packers one demensional. They can't run the ball, so let's make sure they don't discover a running game on us. If we can solve that piece of the puzzle, then we force Brett to put the ball in the air 25-30 times. That should play to our strengths.
Also, it seems like when the Redskins win the time of posession game, they actually win the game.
