My response after watching highlights:

Wow!! Lions made us look REAL GOOD!

The secondary proved themselves to me today, at least against a one dimensional passing offense. Landry had big bat-down (and you gotta think as he matures that'll become an int.), Taylor with another pick in the "outfield," even Carlos Rogers was able to step up and put the final nail in the coffin. Smoot looked legit as well, and I didn't hear Springs name all day which I assume means they didn't even bother throwing his way. Bring on Greenbay and Arizona, both are one dimensional passing teams. I think our Secondary will show this league over the next couple weeks that they are as good as their draft pick average! And even if GB and AZ try and run the ball we will win those games, neither team can slug it out against us. BRING IT ON!!

P.S. Joe Gibbs brought up a good point in the postgame interview. This win, and a win against GB next week will be huge in the playoff race. With the NFC being wide open, these games could very well prove to be the difference in getting the wildcard!! (That is to say if we don't sweep Dallas, and beat NY later, and take the Div.)

While watching this, I'm thinking this is serious shot of feel good stuff for a team and some guys that really need it. In addition the usual stars, you got, Trash, the Rock, Andre, Big Mike, Landry, CARLOS, etc.
It looked like they were having fun. I'm happy for them. Nice to see!

I could watch this all day! I love the Carlos Rogers' pick. That's my favorite play in all of football, the interception return for a touchdown. There's just something really cool about that.

Oh and Pete Kendall has been very very solid all year long for us. Glad I was wrong about signing him.

On Redskins radio yesterday, they had Joe Gibbs on the show comenting on the punt return by Thrash. He said that he had never seen so much hussle by so many guys on one play. Rogers had a hit, Taylor blew up a guy, Rock trailing the play and getting the ball Reed Doughtry was there at the end. Not to mention Thrash.....It was just all out hussle by the whole team.

If they keep playing like this on Defense and Special Teams, it is going to be a fun season.
