W the compassionate conservative

You may or may not know that John Hinckley has been released from the mental
facility where he is incarcerated for unsupervised visits to his parent's
home on weekends. John Hinckley you'll remember, shot President Ronald
Reagan to impress the actress Jodie Foster.

In the spirit of compassion and forgiveness, and without fanfare, President
Bush wrote a letter to Mr. Hinckley which was recently leaked to the press.

The letter appears below:

THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON D.C. Mr. John Hinckley
St. Elizabeth's Hospital
Washington, DC

Dear John:

Laura and I hope that you are continuing your excellent progress in recovery
from your mental problems.

We were pleased to hear that you are now able to have unsupervised visits
with your parents.

The staff at the hospital reports that you are doing fine.

I have decided to seek a second term in office as your president and I would
appreciate your support and the support of your fine parents.

I would hope that if there is anything that you need at the hospital, you
would let us know.

By the way, are you aware that John Kerry is having an affair with Jody
Foster?

I've tried to only add humorus things and nothing mean spirited.

It's not my fault the democrats are so bitter and have such a large chip on their shoulders.

Next thing I'll know is I'm banned for following the rules of where and what can be posted.

Just think how farked up this country would be if we only had one party in charge forever. It's a checks and balances thing.

If the Right was not challanged it may go too far Right for even me. If the Left was unchallanged it too would go too far to the Left for even all Dems.

Debate is very healthy for this Country but you hit it on the head when you said "respect". I have respect for Kerry and Edwards I just don't think our Nation would be better with them in office is all.
