If you guys recall...our running game really didn't do damage until we opened the 2nd half passing....I believe that was the key to the win....
This game ball belongs to offensive line and offensive coaching adjustments in 2nd half.

Throwing to the WR pulled the safteys and coreners out of the box....
That is why we won

The good:

Even if the running game never does this again, at least we know that we won a game because of it.

Exactly! Eliminate penalties, play better on special teams, and continue feeding Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts the ball and this game wouldn't have been as close.


Penalties always is a killer. Thing is why do the Skins always seem to shoot themselves in the foot. This has been a problem since Norv and transcends the differnent coaching staffs. Just weird. I mean all teams get penalites, but we seem to do it at very unopportune times that can cost us a game.

We're 5-3 which = a pretty decent team.

Happy to be 5-3, we've got to get MUCH better over the next 4 weeks for December to matter.. If we play like we did today, the Eagles, Cowboys and Giants are going to blow our doors off..
