One-hundred percent in agreement with you there. I actually read all 46 f-ing pages because...well, I can't tell you why I did that actually, guess I wanted to waste 20 min of my life...but that comment stuck out as the worst among some pretty bad ones. At least the people bitching were apparently watching the game. This dude is going to switch over to see what? The pre-game hype and the kickoff after the Skins lost the toss? The game had me pulling out my hair, but why the hell do I care what happens in the first 5 minutes of the Colts-Pats game? Were you seriously that brainwashed by the media-hype that you just HAD to switch over to see kickoff and some commercials?

While I agree the "game over" posts are nonsense after the first bad play--this site is a "forum" where opinions, whether rationale or not, are discussed. Should someone opine in a negative fashion that does not exclude them from being a "fan".
I, for one, am a member of the Warpath's "Pessimists Caucus". After 15 years, and two playoff wins--I am frustrated. And there is nothing wrong with that. It is mine and other "fans" right to feel this way. However, lumping all the "Kool Aid Caucus" as the "real" Skins' fans and suggesting bans for contrarian posters is perhaps the most ridicules (sic) opinion I have heard on this very competent site...

We all share in your frustration, but does that warrent the "game over" comments when we're winning? I think not.
There is a big difference between being a frustrated fan, and being negative nilly. There are many more positive ways to display your frustration. IE: "The play calling is getting really annoying." No one complains about that kind of stuff. It's the "we suck" and "we will lose" comments that annoy the shit out of most of the real fans. Sorry if this offends some, but yes, to me there is a big difference between the real fans and the fake ones. Just go back through this thread and anyone that said "game over" or "we suck" are not real fans. Real fans don't quit on the team!!!

It is a win in OT...against a team with a now 1 and 8 record... I'm not feeling we are near geling as a team yet. We need more sparks on offense ....Our WRs need to catch more TD's and deep passes.
We play to our opponants. With the exception of the Pats game, we have not lost by more than a TD. We have played 4 games with the deciding factor being 3 points. (we're 3-1 in those games) Just because we're not blowing teams away that have poor records doesn't mean anything. We're not that kind of team.
In case people haven't noticed, we'd be in first place in 3 different divisions, 2nd place in 2 others. 5-3 is a damn good record in the NFL today. Only 8 teams have a better record than we do! So I don't know about you guys, but my "frustration" is a little tempered by the fact that we are in fact winning. I think we are a better team than our 5-3 record reflects, and I think we can play a lot better, that's where my frustration is...but being 5-3 is nothing to sneeze at.
