8 More games what do you think?

Going into the year the Skins were an 8-8 to 10-6 team, depending on the breaks. If they can have a winning record, despite the injuries and despite the woeful play of the offense, that is all you could really ask. I think 10-6 is all you could realistically ask for, and it will take several lucky bounces to get there. If they somehow won 11 games I'd fall out of my chair. Unless the offense improves markedly 9-7 is really all you could hope for, and that might even be pushing the bounds of credulity...but hopefully the offense will improve.

Several people above mentioned the return of Randy Thomas. Does anyone have any good information on a timetable for his return? I think when it happened the talk was that Week 14 or Week 15 was a best case scenario. Is that still the what we are looking at? That would put Randy back (but at what capacity?) for three or four games, which might be exactly what the Skins need to salvage a winning record.

Is CP back or was yesterdays 196 yards just because of a bad run defense? If CP is back to his old self and the OL can hold up then we have every chance to go 12-4. If we cannot keep the running game going then we are doomed.

CP was back yesterday against a very bad run defense. Even though he ended with 196 yards the Skins still could not run to the right side with any success. I'd be very surprised if we see a repeat performance any time soon. I'd also be SHOCKED if the Skins finished 12-4. I really think you are being VERY optimistic. I'd say there is about a 2% chance of that happening, and that is just because the NFL is fairly unpredictable from week to week and I'm not willing to say there is absolutely no chance, but there is basically no chance they go 12-4. Your break down above says the games are "must win" but that does not mean the Skins will win. Its going to be tough every week...I don't see too many more 34-3 wins coming in the coming weeks.

I say 10-6 and we are in. We probably will Win via Tiebreaker with the Lions.

I say 4-4 to put us at 9-7 and a probable wild card. We hold a key tiebreaker over Detroit which could prove huge.

I think we do no worse than 10-6. I do think we make it in if we win ten games. I think we split with Dallas, sweep the Eagles, and trip up the Giants on the road.
When's the last time we beat the Giants in the Meadowlands?

It was Spurrier's last year wasn't it, when Bruce Smith set the all-time sacks record?

i believe we will go 3-5 and finish 8-8. (I hope not!) but with the way our team has been playing, I dont see anything that would make me think we would beat Dallas once, not alone twice. The Giants have played better than anyone, thats 3 losses all ready. Tampa on the Road, Minnesota on the road. Looks like a scrary 2nd half schedule.

Bottom line is this. We can not keep playing the conservative crap we play. I think Joe has to either to Al call Al's plays or just give it up.

Philadelphia: (6-3)
@Dallas: dallas will score too many points, (6-4)
@Tampa Bay: 50-50, but they are at home (6-5)
Buffalo: another 50-50, we win at home (7-5)
Chicago: bad team, we win (8-5)
@NY Giants: giants will defend home turf (8-6)
@Minnesota: 50-50 game, depends if we can contain AP, (9-6)
Dallas: again, can't keep up on the score board (9-7)
