Is Jason Campbell Accountable for this Loss?

seems like he always throws to the first option, no matter if the receiver is double or triple covered, he lost this game today. he's looking like an average inconsistent career backup, remember patrick ramsey.

Since Patrick Ramsey was a starting quarterback for both Spurrier and Gibbs, it is simply retarded to call him a 'career" backup. It is also retarded to call anyone a "career" backup before his career is over, just as it would be wrong to call you a "career" retard before you die.

I'd still rather see him out there making mistakes, he needs to learn.

And no, I don't put the loss on him. I put a horrendous first half that spotted TB 19 points, a terrible call on 4th on short and some bad passes by Campbell.

As for "the same dumb pass 3 weeks in a row," let's see...a route that where Antwaan invites the corner in front of him, a great play by Ronde to disguise his coverage on another short pass, and a ball he definitely shouldn't have thrown, at least not to Santana Moss. All of them are very different mistakes...

on the first int i think it was, He should have fake pumped to Moss. i forget who it was, might have been KM that was wide open on a streak.. definitely would have been a td if he would have thrown it and KM caught it.

This Loss Is Campbell's Fault

There are some Campbell's fault, but he will learn from that. I'm not feeling really bad today for the lost becuase Giants and Cardinals lose the game too. We still got a change.

If Jason shoulders the blame, then who is he letting down? His wideouts dropped 4 passes in the first half, the running game is going nowhere, and the blocking is sporadic at best. We're getting no explosive plays, very little run after catch, and no one outside of Campbell making a play. So yeah, lets blame the one guy on the team who has shown some improvement. Or we could look around at the other skill positions and wonder when they're going to start pulling their own weight. I blame Moss, Portis, and Heyer for letting the d-end come around and hit Jason at the top of his five step drop.

Definately a problem, every game, and usually by santana, or randle el, or portis, the guys we should be relying on to get us the wins.

This is a flawed team, mediocre in a mediocre conference. Maybe Brady and Manning could make them elite, but nobody else. You can blame Campbell for a terrible decision late in the game, but don't start prognosticating about his career. Most of what you said is right!!! He had a few bad plays this week and last. That is the growing pains of a NFL QB. As for the vets on this team many have shown very little. Portis putting the ball on the ground as did Moss! These are the vets that should lead the way not kill us week end and week out!!!! Funny thing is this one didn't hurt that bad because I have become use to this and knowning it's come!!! Face it this is a so so team that needs many things with a cap problem in 08 and more needs then the draft picks we have! It's going to take something we don't have in the FO to right this ship!!!
