I've mentioned this before I think, but after 9/11 about 15 of my friends and I came up with a plan to raise money for the families of the victims of the crash at the Pentagon. Each of us gave 50 cents for each field goal the Redskins scored during the remainder of the season and $1 for each touchdown. I think we raised about $650 dollars. We could maybe do something similar.
I love it.

When Darrent Williams died we (broncoscountry.com) had "live stong" style bracelets made that say "27 DARRENT WILLIAMS 27 1982-2007" in broncos colors. The proceeds were all given to Darrents childrens foundation. I wear mine every day and has really helped me get over the loss. Just a suggestion..

During the holidays (and other times throughout the year) I spend time with underpriviliged children. Most are unpriviliged because they have one parent or none. Basic stuff really. I help them with arts and crafts, play sports with them. Whatever is asked. It takes only a few hours out of my weekend. When I go this year, I will undoubtedly think of Taylor's daughter who is without her father now. She may be too young to realize it at this moment, but her loss is unimaginable.
Anyway, my point is maybe we should do something for Taylor's daughter. But maybe not just his daughter but for all those kids that have no mother, no father. Whether it's all of us giving to a fund that will probably be created for Jackie Taylor, giving to other funds, or just spending time in our local neighborhoods with these kids.
I just think at this time we shouldn't think that we lost a Free Safety. We should remember a little girl just lost her father.
Yea, we could do that.. It's pretty good idea..

Great point, as usual.

Excuse me for my two cents, guys, on a day of morning for you....but, what about printing out that thread that's stickied at the top of this forum, and sending it to the family so that they can see just how much he was appreciated, and loved by so many, even around the league by rival fans?
Perhaps via the main office....
....just an idea.

I live in Florida and I know some people who went to grade school (Gulliver Prep) with him that know his family so if there is anything I can do to help, let me know.
