i thought he did a nice job too... it was absolutely pitiful after the initial reports of his death that so many wanted to exalt themselves by pointing fingers at the victim...
Its just as classless as saying a rape victim "asked for it" by dressing a certain way or wearing makeup.... actually more so because its a murder victim.Great analogy. Wilbon still doesn't get it.

I'm pretty sure I've heard that James Brown is a big Redskins fan...and I thought his comments were really good as well and I was glad to see that CBS let him say it (or maybe they didn't know he was). While Wilbon wasn't the only one he was targeting with those comments...it definitely seems more aimed at him with him writing for the Post and also the stage he has with PTI. I've actually always been a Wilbon fan, and honestly...had this same incident happened with someone like Pacman or Vick and he would've made those same comments, I probably would've agreed with him. But since it was a guy on MY team....I gave Sean the benefit of the doubt....even though there was a good chance what Wilbon and the others were right in what they were saying.
It basically just goes to show whether or not it's the news media or the sports media, they're always going to jump on the negative....because it's what sells the most. Such a shame.

Exactly. I was saying the same thing the other day. "Oh yeah, I'm not surprised she got raped, did you see how she was dressed? And did you see how she was dancing in the bar?" It's disgusting and props to JB for calling his colleagues out.
