i'm thinking a high draft pick. but i don't believe he's the future of this team. he's good inbetween the 20's but he make's poor decision's in the red zone.
So, based on your analysis of Campbell, another team is going to give us a high draft pick? If he stinks in the redzone, why would anyone trade for him? He's good between the 20s--so that is worth what--a second round draft pick? a third?
Given that the Skins have invested so much in Campbell--let's at least give him 30-40 starts before we ultimately pass judgement. And while we're at it--let's give him a few years with the same offensive coordinator. And maybe a relatively healthy O-line. And an average running game. Then we can adequately analyze Campbell before we start over with a new rookie QB...

Run relentlessely and score points in the red zone.

yes, i think cambell should be traded. he's just not getting it done. his numbers have been good, but that dosen't win games. 3 or 4 losses this year have been from jc turnovers late in the game.
The guy has about a season's worth of starts under his belt and has shown promise and you want to get rid of him? Just out of curiosity, what are your general thoughts about Portis and Gibbs?
coach gibbs is a hall of fame coach with 3 super bowl titles. portis is fine. he rushed for over 1500 yards in 05. portis was injured in 06 and started 07 hurt. i'm not blaming everything that's gone wrong on cambell. but he's lost more games than he's won.

let's see...redskins will be winning late in the 3rd quarter, jc will fumble once and throw 2 interceptions in the 4th quarter. that's his mo. as long as jc is the quarterback we will be a sub .500 team.
Look at Troy Aikmans first year as a starter. Carson Palmers as well. There are a ton of first year starters that struggle. Tom Brady's first year as a starter the Pats didn't make it back to the playoffs after winning the SB. Patience and a true Number 1 WR is what will make JC a household name. Everyone expects this team to be great overnight.

Even though he's injured, but I think we need Mike Sellers back and playing...that's our running game right there...he can block...he's a good receiver and he opens up all kinds of holes for Portis...I also think we need to bench Wade and put Heyer in as starter...it seems he doesn't do a good job on blocking...hate to say it,but I think Doughty is doing a pretty good job so far...BUT he DEFINETLY ain't no Sean Taylor...he's got BIG shoes to fill...Mcardell is getting old but he's still a great possesion receiver...we just need to get a good ground game going against Chicago and Campbell needs to be accurate and make no mistakes and try not to kick it to the dangerous Devin Hester...as a DIE HARD Redskins fan I'm not giving up but the playoff picture is going to be a tight one...GO SKINS!

Another key to winning: Scoring points in the redzone.
Taking FGs within the 20 yard line is killing us score wise. Think 7 not 3!

Of course the irony is that the Bills had the same problem yesterday
LOL I can't believe someone wants to get rid of JC already. No, check that I'm not surprised at all. Just when you think you've heard it all, some idiot here will come out with an opinion that defies logic.

Everyone is always talking about the fumbles, blah blah blah, but I mean COME ON, he's NOT AN RB and if he's running for his life because the offensive line can't block for shit, I don't lay that on him.
