Will the players pack it in? No. Does that mean we won't lose 4 more in a row? No. The fact is, for one reason or another, we can't put together a full game- therefore we aren't winning games.

Losing 6 of your seven losses one the last drive is heartbreaking, and it takes its toll on players and fans alike. Will some players/fans blame the coaching staff for various misques? Absolutely, but I think most will simply back their leader's play and lace up for next week.(Metaphorically speaking in the fans case). Simply put, its the Same story, different week, it feels bad now, and many off us don't have much positive to say,but come thursday or friday, we'll all be sipping if not drinking the kool-aid

will not quit????? do you know how many games we've lost this year alone after we've held the lead goin into the second half??? we mite not go to sleep to say, but were sure getting ready for bed...

I think you (and many others) are confusing getting beat for quitting. And assuming that we have something like 21 point leads at the half. Losing the Packers game wasn't about quitting, losing the Eagles game wasn't about quitting, losing the Cowboys game wasn't about quitting.

I would like to know if Lindell's FG kick would have been good from 51 yards out as well. It's not like he was kicking an impossible shot before the stupid penalty. It's definitely frustrating for something that simple to affect us but that mistake was not the single reason we lost today. As for "mailing it in", it's rare for professional athletes to just go through the motions even after playof hopes have evaporated. Let's hope some actually do stop giving it the effort their contracts expect so that we can replace them with people that don't regard their level of participation based on the win/loss record. As Coach Herm Edwards famously said, "You play to win the game".

Well before that first time out Lindell hit it right through the uprights.

It seems that all of our remaining opponents are either on an upswing (Minnesota), or are fighting like hell for their playoff chances (Chi, NYG).

And we flat out don't have the talent to match up with Dallas.

I'd be astonished if they found a way to win just one of those.

The Redskins are only one game out of a playoff spot with 4 games to go. Have some faith.

Can we say the same about the Bills?

Here's what we know, the Bills and the Redskins have played through the two toughest schedules in the league, and thusly, they are the two teams that are toughest to get a good read on.

Are the Bills really better than us? Would they have been a playoff contender had they not had to face the Pats twice?

I don't know the answer to these questions, but let me just say I am very impressed by this Buffalo team.

I think the reality is that Buffalo is a lot better than their record indicates, and hell, coming into today's game, they had the same record as we did. Not a gimmie for a bubble team like we are right now.

Certainly not for a team trying to keep it together in one of the most painfully emotional times any of them have ever experienced, to say nothing of the cumulative toll of injuries, 4th quarter collapses, and overall just bad karma.
