He wasn't supposed to play today because of back pains.
Instead he had two major interceptions. And the first one was a textbook play by a veteran that turned the momentum and set up the first touchdown.
He was huge, nice to see him make some big plays tonight.

And, apart from puking on the sidelines, Smoot has really stepped up the last two weeks as well.

Didn't get to watch much of the game because I was working... but I glanced up every now and then and saw both of his picks.
Love that #24.
Oh, and how clutch was Cooley tonight. Every time I looked up he was barreling down the field. I love how he makes the catch, brings the ball down, and just juggernauts for another 5,10, 15 yds.
Great win.
Cooley never gets brought down by one guy, I love his effort.

I think Smoot has been exceptional the past two weeks, seems like he plays better when he's on the field more. His tackling is pretty clutch most of the time, he steps up and keeps receivers from getting anything after the catch usually, but all his tackles are low so he misses guys occasionally. All and all, I like what Ive seen from him and Im glad hes back here.

Great game for Springs. That INT with the return really got the game going for us.
Cooley has been great, and he was playing hurt there. gotta love the guy.
Good game for ARE as well, I thought. Had some clutch 3rd down catches.
And Portis found a way to get involved on the big swing pass. And he is one of the best at picking up blitzes from the RB spot.
Yoder with big catch. Betts with the big catch. Grif with a huge goal line stop. Smooty playing ball while puking. Thought Reed was good. Marcus got a sack. And, though bone-headed in it's way, and though he dropped two picks, Laron's late hit reminded us that we've still got a hitter back there. Just gotta channel it.
And, it goes without saying, Mr.Todd Collins. The man so juiced they named a drink after him.
And, man, I felt good for Mr. Joe Gibbs.

Or is that a Tom Collins? Lol. Maybe I should invent a Todd Collins. 3 parts moxie, one part lager beer. Let sit on shelf for, oh, five or ten years. Use only as directed.

We didn't hear doughty's name too much... which may be a good sign.
