At least you are not working and able to drink. I on the other hand am constantly reminded by how bad my life sucks with constant phone calls screaming Happy New Years with Drunkeness. Oh well, at least I have friends.

Bye the way. I was watching that as well. It came on right after the Chic A Fillet Bowl.

True I'm not working. But I'm not exactly being a social butterfly, although I have gotten plenty of texts from some of my maniac friends.

That guy who did that bike jump was pretty badass. He did it once, the reporter asked him what he thought of it, and he said "I think I'm gonna do it again!" And then he did! What a nut. 320+ feet going almost 100mph and 60 feet high. Wow.

Freakin crazy! I didn't get to catch the whole thing. You will never catch me on a bike. Much less jumping a football field on one at over 100mph.

Never ridden a motorcycle, never will. But I'll watch those nutjobs pull tricks on 'em all day long.

Although my last new year's thread was a complete flop, I thought I'd try again...

I've spent alot of time here this past year and look forward to sharing some great moments with you. This place has grown immensely since I joined , and even more since I started lurking in 04, and even my wife knows some of you by name now...

Cheers!

On to the resolutions

1) To be more active and health concious. I've been rather lazy with the exception of improving my home, and need to be more active with my kids and eat right... I'm about 80lbs overweight and don't carry it well at all LOL... time for a change. I'm proud of myself for quitting smoking, but its time to make some more healthy lifestyle choices.

2) To be more attentive to my wife

3) To save more money. I'm on track to retire when Im 141 when I do the math... its time to take it more seriously at 27 years old...

What are some of your resolutions?

Happy new years to you and everyone as well.

1- As far as resolutions. I am determined to get back under 200 pounds. That means I have about 60 pounds to go. Last time I was under 200, people thought I was anorexic (sp?), but I'd be happy if I was at least close. Thinking about doing a liquid diet after I get back from Hawaii.
2- Beat angry in fantasy football and win the super bowl...wait, I did that! :D Sorry angry, I couldn't resist.
3- Enjoy life more. I have a job that is a ton less stress, and I'm getting better at taking time to "smell the roses" but when your engrained to rush and rush and not enjoy life, it's hard to slow down. I need to relax more and enjoy the little things life has to offer.
4- Soften my approach to people online. 9 times out of 10 I don't realize how harsh I can come across. I never have this problem in real life, just online.
5- Do a better job at keeping the house clean. I am kind of a clutter bug, and before you know it the bar will be completely full of work related stuff...I need to get better at putting stuff away right away.

Happy New Year! My dad rocked a Redskins shirt last night for New Years with a "21" patch he put on it. I was so proud

My resolutions:

1. Be more organized

That's it. I think more organization and routine will help me live a healthier life, physically, mentally, and fiscally.

Let's also give a birthday shout out to 724skinsfan. 101 years old today!

Happy Birthday you old fart. :D

Awww, you remembered!

Happy (belated) New Years, everybody.

Resolutions:
1) Fix my birthdate on the Warpath.
2) Learn how to type.
3) Become knowledgeable about...anything
4) Go to Canton and see Art Monk and Darrell Green inducted into the HOF.

Spent New Year's Eve at a buddy's house, watching college football (missed the Robbie Maddison's jump) and playing beer pong. Stayed on the table until 3:30am, going 11-0. Spent most of yesterday drinking water and gatorade...man, I'm getting old.

EDIT: Adding Resolutions

1) Lose weight and work out more. Yearly resolution, and I'm hoping that this year will be easier to keep with my 3 month old daughter as motivation. Hoping to drop between 50 and 100 lbs this year.

2) Work more on my slow pitch hitting. It's a healthy obsession to play 100 slow pitch games a year, I might as well get my on base percentage up.

3) Get to the beach more. Family rents a very modest (somewhere between 300 and 400 sq ft) house for the Summer season (from May to September), and I've been a total of 8 times in the last 3 years (out of 48 weekends available).

4) Spend more time at home. Sounds weird after the beach one, but with said daughter, I'd like to be sure I don't work too much and have some home time with her. Was able to get a transfer with my company to their Frederick office (3 minutes from home) back in October, so hopefully I don't get moved anywhere.

Little late to this, but I like the sharing of resolutions - good for motivation. On to mine:

1. Be better at finishing the things I start.

2.
