IMO I think we could use another punter, not one unlike the Seattle punter from yesterday, he was quite effective!

Id like to keep fabini as a backup. I think with all the experience he has now with our team after starting all year he will provide good depth. some of you forget we still have randy thomas.

Suisham, Frost, Caldwell, Albright, and Collins should stay, and I don't think there's a chance in hell Gibbs lets Rock Cartwright go. That's one of his favorite players. Everyone else is highly replaceable.

I hope you're right. I see Rock being similar to Brian Mitchell. Could probably do more elsewhere, but we really need him here. IMO, take Hester out of the NFC and he's a Pro Bowler.

I agree. Just wonder about Caldwell though. He looked good, but didn't get too many balls.

I don't think we should keep caldwell. He only ran 2 routes all year. You could see the seahawks jumping his routes. Hopefully we can upgrade that position with someone either really big or a speed burner. Caldwell is not a threat.

I know I'm in the minority when I say I would rather see McCardell back next year.

Keep in mind we picked up Caldwell mid season, so I doubt he would've known much about the playbook. He's still a young guy who seemed pretty dependable. I also like McCardell, but he's getting kind of old. I'd say keep Caldwell and see what Mix or Espy does next pre-season. We might already have what we need.

It's a complex offense, plus Moss got healthy right when Caldwell started getting comfortable. He's a #3, maybe a #2 at best, but a solid contributor. Someone mentioned earlier that he had a problem with drops, but I don't remember him dropping anything. He's reliable, unselfish, and a hard worker. I think he's a good fit. I just wonder if we'll stand pat at WR or go after a bigger guy. Maybe bring Anthony Mix into, ahem, the mix?

God I hope Brunnel opts out

Why would Brunnel want to opt out? What is he making 2 or 3 million to do nothing? Where else could he get that?

Agreed. Honestly, having two very capable vets backing up Campbell is a good thing for us.

I may be wrong, but I think Brunell restructured last offseason and now makes the veteran minimum for his position. I'm pretty sure he isn't making $2 or $3 million a year.
