I definitely heard the pumped in noice at FedEx so we don't have room to complain. The one thing I will say though is that if it's true it's a shot to the so called "12th man" nonsense.

Even if all the sound is 100% crowd-made and they have every speaker in the place turned off they're aided by acoustics, and maybe a little more caffeine than most other places, but that's about it. Giantone 01-07-2008, 03:37 PM Matty , I understand that but if you watch the film you'll see that does'nt help when the LBer is calling out changes in coverage and stunts since he is "behind the D line and in front of the D backs. mheisig 01-07-2008, 03:37 PM What I find funny about the whole 12th man thing (not you 12thMan, you're a straight shooter with upper management written all over you) is that they seem so loud because their have a well designed stadium, not because they're that much louder and more rowdy than every other place. I think FedEx isn't that loud because most Redskins fans are standing around in bewilderment thinking up words like "que" and "Sunny Jurguson" and "ridicules." Giantone 01-07-2008, 03:39 PM Ranks right up there doesn't it. ........with what? mheisig 01-07-2008, 03:42 PM ........with what? Just off hand, over the last 24 hours I'd say it ranks right there with this: http://www.redskinswarpath.com/parking-lot/21860-post-number-1-000-a.html#post403411 MTK 01-07-2008, 03:46 PM Matty , I understand that but if you watch the film you'll see that does'nt help when the LBer is calling out changes in coverage and stunts since he is "behind the D line and in front of the D backs. So what are you getting at here exactly? That a defense is equally hindered by a loud crowd as the offense?? You would think that the largest stadium in the league would be accused of piping in the sound at FedEx. But what is very clear, and that is the Seahawks cannot win outside of Washington with or without the 12th man. I remember RFK and no stadium rocked like that stadium, but a stadium that's not enclosed on either side creating that kind of noise? I believe Sonny. skinsfan69 01-07-2008, 04:35 PM Blah who cares. Seems like anytime a stadium has a loud crowd, someone tries to accuse the home team of this. Sounds like sour grapes to me. LOL!!!! People will try and find any excuse possible. |
