If it is Schwartz, then "Yay Me!"

I am freakin' awesome. Every single one of you blasted me for it. But who's blastin' now bitches?! (see how lame it sounds when you say stuff like that?)
Wow, now we can put your name right beside that guy who went on and on about TC. What good company you hold.

Speaking of told ya, anyone seen Warriorzpath?
But back on topic, other than being local what other ties does Schwartz have with the Skins or any of its players?
No ties to the players, but ties to the defensive system. That jives with Danny Boy's comments that "continuity is very important" to him.

For him to walk, Grilliams would have to have a HC job lined up, right? I don't think anyone's knocking down his door... or do you think he would quit out of spite? Point may be moot however if they hire outside the organization, someone's most likely going to bring in their own people anyway.

Bringing in Schwartz also indicates that Snyder's hesitancy on Williams may be largely personal. He knows that if he hires someone outside, Williams will leave so he brings in someone who he thinks can do what Williams did from a defensive standpoint to be the guy. If he didn't dislike Williams he could just promote him. Basically Scwarts background says they don't expect Williams to be here. If he were an Offesive guy, Williams might still leave (with Blache and Grey) and then you'd be adrift defensively.
I don't know, 70. I can't see Williams putting a $1MM clause in Williams contract if he has something personal. Too have him in mind at one moment and then turn around a million dollars and have a change of heart just doesn't seem right to me. Not to mention that Williams' defense finished eighth in the NFL.

The issue with this guy, and anyone else who comes in from outside the organization, is will he accept Al Saunders as his OC.
Bram Weinstein had a good point today saying that if it's a first time head coach, that would lend more leeway to Snyder to say that whoever it is won't have a say with the offensive coordinator -- assuming Snyder does want to keep Saunders.

According to his bio, the only player he has ties to is Randall Godfrey.
Schwartz also was instrumental in the integration of newly acquired LB Randall Godfrey into the Titans defensive scheme, as he set career highs in tackles (169) and interceptions (2).

I thought we all agreed there was no clause. The guys on Sirius said unequivocally that it was a myth, not to mention an illegal provision.

Schwartz was born 7/6/66
So he's 41.

maybe i'm on dope, but I just can't see Gibbs walking away from everything he's busted his arse for 4 years only to have it torn down. It just doesn't make sense to me. There is a replacement for Gibbs already and Gibbs and Snyder knew this already. They are just making us sweat it out. done deal pal!

JLC had a post on his blog saying that clause doesn't exist. I've heard it on the radio as well.
