hey if you don't want him we'll take him lol.. seriously I think pretty much any team would be happy to take him. He brings talent, excitement, and he's not a bad guy like people here are pointing out. People really like watching him play.... I just hope that the Patriots don't get him too LOL I wouldn't want to see him on any team that i hate because he's really a talented guy

I'm sure if we did end up picking him up, people around here wouldn't be saying they don't want him. If we did pick him up and the guy delivered next year as a solid and consistent #1, everyone will be singing his praises about what a great acquisition he is.

You would think the same thing about him and T.J. with a pretty good QB but they didn't even make it to the playoffs. They're defense wasn't a big help but they had games were they had trouble just scoring 10-13 points

I doubt the Redskins will pick him up. Dan Snyder doesn't pick up idiots like Chad Johnson that brings drama to the locker room and acts like a moron on the field. No thanks.

You think the cancer in the locker room cliche would be put to rest by now. We've seen two cancers take their team to the next level: TO & Randy Moss. There's no trouble in the locker room now because they're winning. A successful season quiets any malcontent.

Any competitive person that has performed at the level of a Chad Johnson, on and off the field, year in and year out, and only has a 1st round playoff loss to show for it would be understandably upset. Cincy has not brought in the personnel to win but instead been a revolving door for criminals and thugs. They inexplicably pass every down, short yardage or long. And rather than question the FO or the coach, the best player on the team is blamed because he celebrates the few quality plays of a poor team. I think this slamming of Chad Johnson buys Marvin Lewis another season or two, while he should be the one called out on the carpet, not Chad.

The Skins should definitely try to make a move for him. Yes, still give Mix a chance. Bur CJ is going to be the equivalent of what Reche Caldwell and Keenan McCardell were for us this season times ten. He'll move the chains and make the big catches. Also, he'll help spread out the secondary more than Reche and Keenan would. So, Santana and ARE would get open more deep. He'll definitely be a positive piece of the offense, and his acquisition would result in greater offensive production. I don't think we'd be limited to just Chris Cooley in the redzone with Chad on the team.

I say make the move if we can clear salary cap space.

The Enquirer - Johnson airs grievances (http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080112/SPT02/801120376/1066/SPT)

You never know.

If maintain over 1000 yards every season is acting like a moron we need more morons on this team.

Chad Johnson is a problem child. Loads of talent but a problem child. He's under contract in Cincy (one more year I think) so it would take a trade to get him.

T.O is a problem child. Loads of talent but a problem child. He's under contract in Dallas (one more year) so it would take a trade to get him.

Randy Moss is a problem child. Loads of talent but a problem child - - who just got through setting an all time record for TD catches in a single season. He will be a free agent as soon as the Pats' season is over. No trade needed.

For those of you who want to take a shot at a talented WR who is also a problem child, why not take the one who has the most talent AND is a free agent???

Just asking...

I think it is a matter of cost. If the cost is say a 3rd rounder(not out of the realm of possibility but not likely) for CJ then I think just about anyone would take him and his one year left over the boat loads of money it is going to cost to sign Randy Moss. The cap spce needed for Moss is a lot more valuable than the 3rd rounder we'd need for CJ. But I think any more than a 3rd rounder and I am out.

I'm gonna go ahead and predict Moss never leaves New England. They would be retarded to let him get away. Yes he is a free agent...but if they cannot agree to a long term deal with him...Smart money says they slap the franchise tag on him...and then it takes two first round picks to sign him away. So...i would argue moss is not on the open market.
