Anyone here into mcfarlanes?

I started collecting them when they first came out and I have the first four complete set's including most of the chase ones. After a while it just becomes too expensive. I started making my own as well. There is a website of a guy who makes his own and he is a Redskin fan as well, check it out:

I have had a couple of redskins players made. There are a couple of customizers that I trust completely. Go to Stupidsuck.com (http://www.stupidsuck.com) He does Redskins customs. I got Sean Taylor pro bowl and the eagles endzone dive of Sean Taylor. I also got a Dave Butz and another Sean Taylor in the Burgundy uniform. The other customizer that I use is RLcustoms (http://www.rlcustoms.com) I have a bunch of his customs. By the way, they are going to be doing a clintoin portis #2 action figure next year. Look out for it.

Oh for the legends next year, they are going to have john riggins as well. For the factory ones, I buy through Mcfarlane sports, mcfarlane toys, sports picks, mcfarlane, mcfarlane sports picks (http://www.allstarfigures.com) They have a good selection of other figures as well. They also have these figures by gracelyn. They look more like robot figures than the mcfarlane ones, but they are poseable and all that. It would be better for kids rather than a display.

Both of those guys are regular contributors on a customizers site I frequent. Both do excellent work, a hell of a lot better than I do.

There is a picture of Sean Taylor that was submitted for this custom to be done. There is a picture of Sean Taylor with an afro in game earlier this season. I believe it was the Lions game. That is where Ryan, the guy who customized the figure, got it from. If you look on the previous page, the base figure that was used was an LT figure. He just changed the head and repainted the figure. He also added the tatoos.
