Nothing wrong with some off-topic discussion, this is the place for it.
Bozzy's link is up simply because it's a good place to go to get in to these types of converstations a little deeper, I wasn't trying to hint at anything or stop anyone from having off-topic discussions.

I just thought that these types of conversations usually turn into flame wars and that now is not the right time for it.
I guess I am wrong, and I apologize.

I don't think many people hold grudges from the off-topic forum to the Redskin's chat. Cpayne, we agree on very few things politically, but I think we get along fine. What do you mean topics like this divide exactly? Divide us as Redskins fans? Or divide us as a nation, etc.
Personally, I'm all for the off-topic forum, but this thread has been dead for months like That Guy said.
I agree with daseal, I think for the most part people can seperate off topic talk and Redskins discussion without holding grudges. If that wasn't the case I would consider shutting down the off topic forum.
