You guys really think that Snyder is going to even look at this? LOL!

No, but at least if you vote on the WP poll (do you want Fassel), he will definitely see that. here's the link: Washington Redskins (washingtonpost.com) (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/sports/redskins/index.html?tab=poll)

I am holding out hope that he takes the opinions of all that have a truely altruistic interest in the progression and unity of the team!

I highly doubt he will look at the WP poll or even care if he does. But if it makes you feel better...

I'm sure he reads the WP or least his cronies do. I'm positive he's already got wind that Fassel is not a popular choice amongst fans who buy season tickets, maybe that will make him think about his choice, maybe not. It doesn't hurt to vote.

All I care about is results. If the Skins don't produce, then I'll be mad. Until then, I don't care if Orville Redenbacher is the head coach, as long as progress is made.

Everyone just assumes the worst with Fassel. Why? He was successful in New York as a head coach, and was the front runner back when Gibbs was hired. In 2006, McNair at that point in the season had a 64.1 QB rating, and a disgruntled Jamal Lewis (no long term deal) didn't do much that year. Fassel took the fall, even though the team was 4-2 at that point, and went on to a 13-3 record playing Ravens style (Great defense, adequate offense).

Stability does not always equal positive results. It can be helpful, but doesn't always guarantee you'll get what you are looking for.

I'll just bide my time and see who takes over and what direction he takes the team in...

If he's letting the fan base sway his decision making, we really are in big trouble.

Agreed 100%.

Many people complain Snyder is meddlesome, an idiot, sell the team, blah, blah, blah. Now many of you want him to chart the direction of the franchise based on what the fans want???? We'd be changing coaches after a couple of losses mid-season and eating dead-cap charges left & right if the mob-mentality based fans made these decisions.

I'm a little concerned about the impression of the franchise externally to others in the NFL right now, but as long as Snyder makes a solid decision by early next week everything should be fine....deep breath in....slowly exhale...Serenity Now, Serenity Now.

I don't want to be a hater and I usually try to keep my comments positive, but to paraphrase the immortal schneed, "THIS THREAD IS FUCKING RETARDED." Fans have no say because they are only interested third parties. Period. As matty said, I'd be more concerned about DS if he was listening to this drunken rabble instead of doing his due diligence and conducting as many interviews as possible.

DS is loving all of this attention his team is getting. Good, bad or indifferent.
He will do something to keep the Skins in the paper right thru OTA's. After the hire we will start hearing rumors about trading draft picks and releasing veterans. It's all a big marketing scheme and I'm tired of it.

I'm starting to wonder if Joe was asked to step down.
