Leave it alone. COLLEGE football needs the reform.
Agreed. I loved this quote:
If this year's postseason didn't hammer home the "tanking is bad" message for a coach, then he deserves a savage beatdown in the playoffs next year.

Why fix what's not broken?
Not broken? Redskins haven't had a home playoff game since 1999. I say change it maybe that'll be the impetus for another Redskins playoff win!

It would only really affect first round games and to me changing it would eliminate the need for divisions. Now, win your division and you're at least guaranteed a home playoff game, under this proposal you could still win your division and have to go on the road? Then why even have divisions if this is the case?
And its not just teams in crappy divisions, NFC South this year. How bout when you play an opposing conference that is crappy, playing the AFC East gets you one beatdown and three wins, well unless your coach feels the need to do a Double Shanahan ice job and forgets that you can't call back to back timeouts without penalty. But playing the AFC East is an easier job than playing the AFC South or the NFC East, so there's always an imbalance in the schedule. Long story short, no compelling reason to change, especially when 2 of the last 3 Super Bowl champs have been wild cards.
