The story is in the news wire, but I thought it merited its own thread in the locker room as well. Just when I think I'm coming to terms with Taylor's passing, I read this (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/02/09/AR2008020902504.html) and see these (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/gallery/2008/02/09/GA2008020902262.html) pictures.

I don't think I will ever fully come to terms with Sean's death. I've loved a lot of Redskins like Riggins, Butz, Monk and Green, but I've never followed a player like I have Sean Taylor.

Seriously..I actually miss that guy...beyond football....I really thinking having the chance to meet him, and how cool he was and having talked to him for five mintues has made it so much closer to home that he's not here anymore....I really dont know if I'll ever see any Redskin play football like that guy did....

Thanks for the great pictures. Those were moving as was seeing our guys wear his jersey at the Pro Bowl as well as the tributes by the fans. We were truly blessed as Redskins fans to have seen Sean play. He will ALWAYS be a Redskin.

Reading this article, I think that Greg would have been the HC in Gibbs absense if Taylor was still alive. They would have done anything to keep him happy and I know Sean would have voiced his support for GW. He will be my all time favorite player who I will tell my children about.

I feel the same way, so do a lot of others ... Man, he was the greatest.. I love his whole demeanor, everything about him... I still use memories of him to get myself pumped up for any type of sporting competition.

This song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCWH2MmlHQE&feature=related) is good for watching the slideshow or any ST highlights

Just bought a 21 sticker for my car.

God Bless

I go out to see pre season practice every year. Two things I'll always remember about ST.

1. I couldn't get over how big he was when I first saw him. He was wearing #36 and he looked like a LB. He must have been 240lbs. He was huge!

2. I'll never ever forget how nice he was to all the fans. Especially the kids. One day he sat there and signed every single autograph and took numerous pictures with fans. It's such a shame that he's gone.

Great article and pics. He was my favorite player also. He loved to punish the opposing team...something I completely loved

I'm still heart broken about Sean. He was truely my favorite Redskins all-time. RIP Brother.
